I’m so sorry for the unexpected loss of Marcia (Mrs. Raleigh). Your love for her as a Wife and Mother was so evident it told the tale of how special she was. And please take solace in the fact that she surely knew how much she was loved and revered by her husband and sons. I know it will be hard to process this loss and our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Look forward to seeing you all again soon.

It was a wonderful memorial service today. A fitting tribute to a wonderful lady. She was a heck of a bridge player! Wednesday night bridge just won't be the same without our "Rea girls". Marcia did a world of good for so many foster and adoptive kids by finding their forever families. You can't put a price on that kind of dedication. They just don't make better women than Marcia Raleigh and her sweet baby sister Becky Wiley. And Alabama never had a better alumni! Rest my sweet friend, you have done well.

Richard and family: Please know you all are in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. Marcia was such a sweet soul and shared so much of her kindness and love between our families over the years. I am so grateful for the opportunity to talk with her over the past several years and to listen to her stories of our times in Griffin and the advice and guidance for our children. We share in your grief and know her love will endure and be passed on to future generations. Rest In Peace Marcia. Much love and sympathy.

My condolences to the family during this time. Our paths crossed at the Department of Family and Children Services. She was a gentle spirit who went that extra mile to ensure the each "forever families" had everything within her ability to provide to make their road smoother. My prayer for the family is that you hold the memories in your heart as you face the days ahead.
Phyllis Easton-Barkley.
