It has been years since I have seen Scott as a school mate at Westside High School but he was such a kind person and always so full of life. My heart aches for all of you, his beautiful family, but I am so thankful to know he has his faith in Jesus! My family will continue to pray for your family on the journey ahead as you learn to walk in a new normal. -Beth Bailey Pierce

Our thoughts and prayers are with Jennifer and all of Scott's family. I have known Scott all his life. We grew up together - at church and later across the street from each other. We don't always understand why things happen but accept it as God's will. I know ya'll will miss him greatly. But I pray you have comfort in knowing that you will see him again one day in your heavenly home. Love and prayers . . . Buddy and Nancy Baxter

Jennifer and children,
Many prayers are covering your family from your friends in Lavonia. Scott impacted many lives while teaching and coaching in Franklin County, and I will always have fond memories of planning field day events with Scott while on staff at LES. Our water balloon fights and the Dunking Booth were great memories for students. He loved his Savior, his family, and his friends. May God bless you all!

Jennifer and Family,
We know that you are hurting right now, and we know how much everyone will miss Scott's big personality. Although we haven't had the chance to see either of you in a long time, we still considered you both very good friends. We love you and pray that God will wrap His arms around you all, and give you peace and comfort in the weeks and months ahead. We are comforted to know that we will see him again, probably much sooner than any of us imagine.
Love, Mark and Kelly
