Roxanne has been in my life for a long as I can remember. She was the "fun" babysitter to not only myself but my sister Amanda. Roxanne called Amanda, 'Mandy'. Roxanne was my Aunt Polly's best friend!! They had been friends forever! Once my Aunt Polly passed, Roxanne & I started checking on each other everyday. We became "besties"! After every conversation we ever had, she would say, "I love you, my bestie." My response was always, "I love you back bestie!" We spoke almost everyday for a very long time, until I started working again. Even after the start of my job, we would talk several times a week. She & I both are late nighters who had a hard time sleeping. The nighttime calls were perfect for us to catch up, tell jokes, talk about everything from family to politics & everything in between. Roxanne truly was my bestie! I was proud to continue Polly's relationship with Roxanne. Of course I am not Polly but Roxanne loved talking to me about Polly & their 'hayday.' I am going to truly miss my friend & her laugh!! I love you Roxanne!
