To know her was to love her. I met VW at Macedonia Church 24 years ago. I thought she was one of the most beautiful, elegant, and poised ladies in the world. She was such an inspiration to me with her knowledge of God's Word and you never doubted her wisdom of His Word and grace. If I ever got out of line with my actions or words, she would always tell me she was gonna take me to the altar next Sunday. She was a joy to be with and made everyone feel welcome to her home. She will be missed greatly. Her legend will live on... My condolence to all the family...

She was such a special lady. She touched the lives of everyone that knew her. She will always be known for her kindness and the love that she showed to everyone that knew her. A true Christian. She is walking in heaven today. We will always think of her as the Lady of the Lake. She always brightened our day and her smile would light up a room. We will keep her family and friends in our thoughts and prayers.
