Pamela Denise Skelton, age 51, of Jackson, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013 at her residence. She was born July 4, 1961 in Griffin, GA to the late Amos Skelton and the late Patricia Ricks Darnell. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting, vacationing in the mountains and loved spending time with her family. Pamela is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Wilson Rowland, of Jackson; 2 sons and daughter-in-law, Nick Corley, of Jackson, Ray and Layla Corley, of Griffin; 3 grandchildren, Carter, Taylor and Cassie; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jackie and Jerry Marlow, of Suches, Kathy and Tim Puzder, of Locust Grove; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Ricks, of McDonough; uncle, Tommy Ricks, of McDonough; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Pamela Skelton will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in McDonough. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 – 8 PM Tuesday evening. Those who wish may sign the online guest registry at www.sherrell-westburyfh.com.
