Obituary of Charlotte Anne Huggins

Mrs. Charlotte Anne Stroup Huggins, age 75, of Riverdale, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Piedmont Henry Hospital. Charlotte was born on Friday, September 13, 1946, in Roswell, Georgia to the late Deebie Malachi Stroup and the late Addie Lucille Smith Stroup. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Meredith Huggins; son, Oscar Huggins; daughters, Linda Morgan, Kathy Jenkins; granddaughter, Kathy Lawton; grandson, Bryan Abraham. Charlotte worked for the State of Georgia and retired after 35 years. She enjoyed playing games, cooking for the whole family, and was a mother to everyone. Charlotte loved her children, her dogs, and above all she loved the Lord. Charlotte is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Sammy Lamar Huggins, Danny Lee Huggins, Ronnie and Michelle Huggins; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Mike Abraham; grandson (like a son), Cody Huggins and Hannah; 35 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sister, Sharon Gasparcortina. A funeral service for Mrs. Charlotte Huggins will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at 12:00 P.M. at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Ronnie Huggins officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Fairburn, Georgia. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
