Mr. Steven Russell “Dude” Cook, age 62, of Jackson, Georgia passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022.
Dude was born on Monday, April 25, 1960, in Covington, Georgia to the late James W. Cook and Maureen Blanford Cook. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra James and nephew, Michael Harper. Dude was a sweet man who worked for Briggs & Stratton for over 20 years. He was loved very much by his friends and family.
Dude is survived by his siblings, Barbara and Don Little, Becky Ramsey, Randy Cook, Richard Cook, Donald and Angela Cook; nephews, Don Little Jr. and Becky, Jeremy James and Kalyn, Kensey Fuller; great niece, Ellie James; aunts and uncle, Sara Ruth Kitchens, Billie and Tracy Blanford; numerous cousins.
Funeral services for Mr. Steven “Dude” Cook will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at 3:00 P.M. at Sherell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. Interment will follow Worthville Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
