Obituary of Ronald Raymond Chamlee

Mr. Ronald Raymond Chamlee, age 81, of Flovilla, Georgia passed away Friday, August 26, 2022.

Ron was born on Wednesday, November 6, 1940, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Luther Chamlee and Ethel Williams Chamlee. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Chamlee; sons, Dustin Blake Chamlee, Ronald Todd Chamlee. Ron loved the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He also enjoyed playing golf and woodworking.

Ron is survived by his children, Kim Chamlee, Dawn Cates Hill, Roni (Kevin) Lane; grandchildren, Barron, Michael, Sidney, McKensey, Mya, Katie, Jenna.

A funeral service for Mr. Ronald Chamlee will be held on Sunday, September 4, 2022, at 4:00 P.M. in Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Pastor Donnie Hamrick officiating.  Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. until service time, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Chamlee Family Cemetery.
