Mr. Lewis Anthony Parker, age 69, of Jackson, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022.

 

Tony was born on Sunday, January 25, 1953, in Griffin, Georgia to the late Marion Roscoe Parker and Mary Ruth Smith Parker. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Keith “Beefie” Parker. He loved history, reading, and cooking and did it every day. He also enjoyed going to the beach, hunting, and fishing. Most of all, he loved his family.


Tony is survived by his mother, Mary Ruth Parker; wife, Jean Rosser; stepson, Brian Phillips; grandchildren, BriAnn Smith; Carlos Norsworthy, Parker Phillips; great-grandchildren, Mila Smith, Mayson Smith; sisters-in-law, Beth Mills and Pam Mills; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 

A funeral service for Mr. Tony Parker will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Pastor Dave Nelson officiating. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on the day of service.
