Obituary of Sarah Cleveland English
Mrs. Sarah Cleveland English, age 77, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Atrium Navicent Medical Center.
Sarah was born on Thursday, January 11, 1945, in Jackson, Georgia, to the late Marshall Howard Cleveland and the late Bertha Jeffries. Sarah was preceded in death by her daughter, Jenni Watts; siblings, Jarrell Cleveland, Carol Anderson, Margaret Greenwood; son-in-law, Timothy Williams; brothers-in-law, James Miller, Thurmon Greenwood; sister-in-law, Linda Cleveland. Sarah enjoyed fishing and cooking for her family. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. She loved working outside, especially in her garden. Most of all, she loved her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.
Sarah is survived by her loving husband, James English, Sr; children and their spouses, Saralyn Williams, Karon Barnes (David), Sharon Crowell (Don), Jim English (Karen), Lundy English, Marietta Lomboy (Joseph); 15 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; siblings and their spouses, Tommy Cleveland, Bonnie Cook (Jimmy), Martha Miller, Dorothy Cronan (Bud); sister-in-law, Sharrell Cleveland, brother-in-law, Harry Anderson; son-in-law, Keith Watts; several nieces and nephews also survive.
A funeral service for Mrs. Sarah Cleveland English will be held on Wednesday, November 2nd, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. at Lighthouse Baptist Church with Pastor Chad Gordon and Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. Interment will follow the service in Stark United Methodist Church Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, November 1st, 2022, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
