Obituary of James Frank Trimble

Mr. James Frank Trimble, age 88, of Jackson, Georgia passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022.

 

James was born on Friday, March 23, 1934, in East Point, Georgia to the late Daniel Webster Trimble and the late Ruth Houston Trimble. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carole Mitchell Trimble; and son, Edward Mitchell Trimble. James served in the United States Army and retired as a Magistrate Court Judge with Butts County. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Jackson. James was an avid golfer and a lifetime supporter of the Jackson Red Devils.


James is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Betsy Trimble, Danny and Jennifer Trimble; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brothers and sister-in-law, Ed Trimble, Mark and Shelby Trimble; sister and brother-in-law, Ruthie and James Miller; several nieces and nephews.

 

A memorial service for Mr. James Trimble will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at 3:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church with Mr. Ralph Wilson officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Butts Mutts, www.buttsmutts.com, P.O. Box 474, Jackson, Georgia 30233.
