Obituary of Eleanor Frances Lawson

Mrs. Eleanor Frances Cummins Lawson, age 87, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022.

Eleanor was born on Tuesday, May 14, 1935, in Dodge County, Georgia to the late John W. Cummins and the late Bertha Eudora Dunn Cummins. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Jefferson “T.J.” Lawson; daughter, Doris Faulk; 6 brothers and sisters; son-in-law, Mike Hosey.  Eleanor was a member of Abundant Life Church and enjoyed reading, cooking, and crocheting. She loved her church and Jimmy Swaggart. Eleanor had a great capacity for love and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Eleanor is survived by her children and spouses, Joyce and Tim Daniell, Jeff and Sandra Lawson; son-in-law, Al Faulk; grandchildren, David and Joey Browning, Matthew and Nickie Browning, Benjamin and Quaneisha Browning, Brittany Williams, Ryan and Abigayle Lawson, Victoria Madyson Lawson and fiancé, Aaron Sims, William and April Drummond; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Edith and Billy Williamson; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service for Mrs. Eleanor Lawson will be on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Dr. Benjamin Browning officiating. Interment will follow at Jackson City Cemetery.  Friends may visit with the family on Friday, December 9, 2022, from 6:00P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
