Obituary of Mark Jerome Holland

Mr. Mark Jerome Holland, age 63, of Jackson, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Northside Hospital in Atlanta after an extended illness.

Mark was born on Friday, July 31, 1959 in Plainfield, New Jersey to the late Robert P. Holland and the late Alyce Susan Hopper Holland. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by niece, Christina Wenke. He lived most of his life in Butts County. Mark had a unique dry sense of humor, that everyone loved. He enjoyed reading, fishing, buying cars, going to the beach, but most of all spending time with his family.

Mark is survived by his wife of 39 years, Andrea "Andi" Holland; daughter, Megan Holland; son, Kevin Holland; granddaughter, Laiken Holland; sisters, Lynne de Coupigny, Patricia (William) Powers, Lisa Wenke; brother, Jim Holland; brother-in-law, Brian (Carolyn) Heard; 7 nieces & nephews.

A memorial service for Mark Holland will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. in the Sherrell Memorial Chapel. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. prior to the memorial service.
