Mr. John Van Regan (Papa John), age 59, of Locust Grove, Georgia, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023.

 

John was born on Saturday, August 10, 1963, in Fort Benning, Georgia to the late Stephen J. Regan Jr. and the late Rosemary Theresa McLaughlin Regan. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Stephen J. Regan III, Eddie J. Regan. John enjoyed cooking, NASCAR, dirt bike racing, and sports. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

 

John is survived by his children, Anna Regan, Lauren and son-in-law, Shawn Pounds, Shaun Regan; grandchildren, Kolby Pounds, Kooper Pounds, Lyla Echols, Lane Echols, Knox Pounds; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathleen and Skeet Rolling, Cheryl and Ronnie Moss; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 

A funeral service for Mr. John Regan will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at the Sherrell Memorial Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with Dr. Benny Tate officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday evening from 6:00 P.M until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
