Obituary of Terry Robert Durrance

Mr. Terry Robert Durrance, age 68, of Monticello, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023.

Terry was born on Friday, September 24, 1954, in Blackshear, Georgia to the late Lumby Durrance and the late Ollie Mae Thornton Durrance. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Myrtle Durrance; grandson, Michael Gould; son-in-law, Edward Chadwick; 5 sisters; and 1 brother. Terry enjoyed fishing, boating, and watching NASCAR. He loved fish fries with family and friends. Terry loved working on cars, doing projects, and doing anything that gave him a challenge.

Terry is survived by his wife, Barbara Suzette Durrance; daughters and sons-in-law, Denise and Todd Montgomery, Theresa and Mike Gould, Lisa Chadwick; son, Robert Durrance; stepsons and spouse, Eric West, Thomas and Melissa West; stepdaughter, Lori Davis; grandchildren, Brandon, Daniel, Erica, Tia, Alexander, Abigail, Alyssa, Chelsea, Dylan, Peyton; 6 great grandchildren; 6 sisters; 1 brother.

A memorial service for Mr. Terry Durrance will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Sherrell Memorial Chapel at 3:00 P.M. Friends may visit with the family before the funeral from 2:00 until 3:00 at the funeral home.
