Obituary of Donald Benjamin Sheffield

Mr. Donald Benjamin Sheffield, age 62, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2023.

Donald was born on Tuesday, January 24, 1961, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late William Thomas Sheffield and Shirley Maxine Weaver Sheffield. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by three brothers. Donald enjoyed riding motorized bicycles and fishing on the lake.  He loved grilling out and spending time with his family.

Donald is survived by his children, Donald Allan Sheffield, Lyle Benjamin Sheffield, Chaunte Dannielle and Jason Dodson; grandchildren, Jason Dodson Jr., Madison McKay Sheffield, Adalynn Dodson; mother, Shirley Maxine Sheffield; brother, Tommy Lee Sheffield; sister, Susan Marie Deese; many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Mr. Donald B. Sheffield will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at the Sherrell Memorial Chapel at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Sam Owens officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.
