Obituary of Lewis Ellis Titshaw

Mr. Lewis Ellis Titshaw, Jr, age 82, of Flovilla, Georgia, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023.

 

Ellis was born on Friday, February 14, 1941, in Pitts, Georgia, to the late Lewis Ellis Titshaw Sr and the late Mabel Elizabeth Morgan Titshaw. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Lewis Ellis Titshaw III “Ricky”; brothers, Edward Titshaw, Rufus Titshaw. Ellis served in the United States Army and worked for the Local 669 as Fire protection – pipe fitter. He enjoyed hunting turkey and deer, flint knapping, and bow building. Ellis was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and he adored his family and dogs.

 

Ellis is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Lynn Titshaw; children, Monique Guerrero, George Titshaw; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Juanita Johnson; several nieces and nephews.

 

A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2023, from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at The Buggy House, 10 North Mulberry Street, Jackson, Georgia 30233.

There is an additional parking lot behind the building.
