Obituary of Audrey Johnson

Audrey Elaine Johnson, age 82, of McDonough, GA, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Westbury Health and Rehabilitation Center of McDonough. She was born on April 30, 1931 in Villanow, GA to the late Ira Sherman Hill and the late Fannie Roberta Huggins Hill. She loved being a nurse, sewing, crafts, playing the piano, dancing, and camping. She attended High Falls Baptist Church. As a P/A she delivered 5 of her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bud Johnson; daughter, Betty M. Cox; son, Gary Johnson; granddaughter, Terri Hicks; sisters, Dorothy Bailey, Virgie Evans, and Teet Godfry. Audrey is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Beverley and Kenneth Baldwin, of Flovilla; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Jack Hutchinson, of Ft. Oglethorpe; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Quanita Hill, of TX; and several nieces and nephews Funeral services for Audrey Johnson will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Rev. Charlie Edwards officiating. Interment will be at First Baptist Church of High Falls Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday evening.
