Mr. John Andrews Loftin, age 62, of Griffin, Georgia passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023. 

John was born on Saturday, September 17, 1960, in East Point, Georgia to the late Sherrill James Loftin and Mary Kathryn Holcombe Loftin. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Martha Loftin, and brother, Craig Loftin. John was a member of Jackson Christian Church. He enjoyed reading, old antique cars, playing darts, card games and most importantly, he loved to watch baseball and softball with his girls.

 

John is survived by his twin daughters, Kimberly Loftin and Courtney Loftin; mother of his children, Linda Loftin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeff and Tina Loftin, James and Beoncia Loftin; sisters and brother-in-law, Cheryl Ann and Carey Spraggins, and Mary Dowdy; several nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services for Mr. John Loftin will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 4:00 P.M. at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Reverend Daniel Wright officiating. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home one hour before the service.
