Obituary of Juanita Virginia Cawthon

Mrs. Juanita Virginia New Cawthon, age 94, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023.

Juanita was born on Wednesday, February 13, 1929, in Lithonia, Georgia to the late Herbert New and the late Annie Sue Kelley New. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Jones E. Copeland and Porter Cawthon. Juanita was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and loved attending church. She enjoyed painting, shopping, and going on trips.

Juanita is survived by her nieces, Amy Lott, Cheryl Young; stepson, Steve Cawthon; great nephews, Tyler Wade Lott, Logan Ryan Lott; and many extended members of the Cawthon family and close friends.

There will be no formal service at this time.
