Ella Juanita King, age 68, of Jackson, GA, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Sylvan Grove Hospital in Jackson. She was born on January 1, 1945 in Griffin, GA to the late H. B. Brannon and the late Mary Ruth Rider Brannon. Juanita enjoyed humming birds, arts and crafts and going to Topmost, KY. She loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Tina Polk Lynch, and sister, Mary Carolyn Horne. Juanita is survived by her husband, Terry King, of Jackson; daughters and sons-in-law, Toya and Ricky Haralson, of Rayle, GA, Lynn and Jason Ellis, of Jackson; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 4 nieces, Shirell Williams, Kathy Dufresne, Sue Young, Tammy Horne; and son-in-law, Scott Lynch. Funeral services for Juanita King will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Pastor Bobby Hooks officiating. Interment will be at Worthville Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday evening.
