Obituary of Lynn Bernice Kelley
Mrs. Lynn Bernice Turner Kelley, age 70, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Piedmont Henry Hospital.
Lynn was born on Thursday, September 10, 1953, in Griffin, Georgia to the late Walter Ernest Turner and the late Exie Jewel English Turner. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Kelley, Sr; and son, Terry Dan Mazer; daughter, Michelle Sherree Smith; stepson, Charles L. “Chuck” Kelley Jr.; sisters, Kitty Lee Gilbert, Dianna Faye Turner. She was a member of Rock Springs Church. Lynn enjoyed crafts, gardening, and played dulcimer in a group. She loved animals, taking her two sisters shopping, and especially spending time with her family.
Lynn is survived by her children and spouses, Mike and Billie Mazer, Kevin Mazer, Sherri Hood; step daughter and spouse; Barbara and Scott Pressley; grandchildren, Chris and Maggie Mazer, Tyler and Makenna Mazer, Cole Mazer, Taylor and Lane Adams, Ashley Mazer, Matthew Smith, Caleb Smith, Kaylee Roland, Kimberly Hood, Brittany Hood; 4 great-grandchildren; step grandchildren, Christen Kelley, Sarah Kelley, Kaylen Kelley, Luke Pressley, Sam Pressley; sisters, Gloria Jean Turner, Sherree Maxine Turner; brothers and sister-in-law, Terrell Eugene and Shirley Turner, Kenneth and Teresa Turner, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lynn Kelley will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Rock Springs Church with Pastor Benny Tate officiating. Friends may visit the family on Monday, June 17, 2024, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
