Obituary of Van Walton
Mr. Ralph Van Walton, beloved husband, father, and papa, age 53, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2024.
Van was born Tuesday, July 14, 1970, in Memphis, Tennessee to Lewis Edward Walton and Lana Suzanne Winborn Walton. He was preceded in death by his brother, Troy Walton. Van served in the United States Navy and was a member of Abundant Life Church. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing and yard work. Van was a huge University of Alabama football fan. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Van is survived by his wife of 25 years, Ginny K. Walton; children and spouse, Jordan and Chelsea Kosky, Drake Walton, Jacob Kosky, Jacob Walton, Jude Walton; grandchildren, Arianna Kosky, John Cotton Walton, Elijah Kosky, Memphis Walton, Austin Walton, Missouri Ross; parents, Edward and Lana Walton; brother, Sean Walton; sister, Aimee Walton; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life for Mr. Van Walton will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Abundant Life Church. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service at the church.
