Mrs. Hazel Daniel Johnson, age 94, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2024.

 

Hazel was born on Saturday, June 28, 1930, in Woodland, Alabama to the late Belton Daniel and the late Viola Daniel Wade. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Johnson; stepfather, Willis Wade; sisters, Audrey Eady, Thelma Waugh; and brother, Lowell Daniel. Hazel was of Baptist faith and enjoyed reading and cooking. Most of all she enjoyed visiting family and going to family reunions.

 

Hazel is survived by her children, Wanda Moore, Larry Johnson; grandson, Jason Moore.

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel Johnson will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, October 18, 2024, at the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Pastor David O’Steen officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 P.M. at Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Decatur. Family and friends may visit the family on Thursday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
