Reggie and I rode the school bus together for an hour each way every school day through the years. For those that didn’t know him as a young child, Reggie was a very, very handsome little boy. He called me his girlfriend on the school bus because I kinda took care of him and tried to keep him in good favor with our dedicated bus driver, Mr. Foster. Robbie and I sat together on the bus sometimes and we made sure that Reggie and my brother, Leon, didn’t get into trouble and were not bullied by the older kids on the bus. I sure hope that he and Leon are remembering in heaven their good times together in life. Our Smith family all love the Letson boys. I am sad to hear of Reggie’s passing and I send my sincerest condolences to his family.
