Obituary of Bonnie Sue Harper

Mrs. Bonnie Sue Smith Harper, age 65, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 25, 2024.

 

Bonnie was born on Tuesday, October 6, 1959, in Jackson, Georgia to the late Hiram Smith and the late Betty Waters Gilbert. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jeremy Dewayne Boothe; husband, Sonny Harper; brother, Samuel Hiram Smith; her companion and love of her life, Charlie Robison; and great nephew, Levi Bragg. Bonnie was a member of Worthville Baptist Church and lifelong resident of Butts County in the Worthville/Jackson areas. She enjoyed yard sales, buying and selling on eBay, traveling, entrepreneurship, riding motorcycles, and cooking.  Most of all she loved spending precious time with her family. Bonnie was a survivor of many illnesses and always fought hard with a smile on her face. She never met a stranger and was caring, loving, friendly, and overall giving.

 

Bonnie wanted to extend her heartfelt thanks to Autumn Village for their love and care, and always making her feel like family.

 

Bonnie is survived by her sons, Caleb Jeffrey Harper, Shane Harper; grandsons, Lucas Harper, Aiden Harper; brothers and sister-in-law, David and Renee Smith, Gary Smith; nieces and nephews, Brittany, Frances, Sandy, Johnny, Jennifer; great niece, Liz; and many more loving family members.  

 

A funeral service for Mrs. Bonnie Harper will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. Interment will follow at Worthville Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

 

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Worthville Cemetery Fund, 112 Old South River Road, Jackson, Georgia 30233.
