Obituary of Virginia Sarahbeth Coleman
Ms. Virginia Sarahbeth Ledford Coleman, age 77, of Talking Rock, Georgia, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024.
Virginia was born on Thursday, March 13, 1947, in Barnesville, Georgia to the late Cliford and Emmy Ledford. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Wayne Ledford, Shorty Ledford, Leonard Ledford, Jessie Ledford, and Roy Ledford; son-in-law, James Estes. Virginia was a seamstress and enjoyed sewing in her free time. She enjoyed making dolls, reading, especially history, singing in church, and the mountains. Virginia made the best flapjacks with homemade syrup. She especially loved her dog, Kirby.
Virginia is survived by her children and spouses, David and Angie Pollard, Cathy Estes, Mike Pollard, Tommy Pollard, Jon and Stacy Pollard; grandchildren, Alicia, Heather (Chris), Sabrina, Deanna, Ashley, Autumn, Addison, and Austin; great-grandchildren, Annaleigh, Ariella, Aiden, Hudson, Caesen, and Cyler; sisters, Betty Coe, Judy Ledford; special nephew, Walter Cochran; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service for Ms. Virginia Coleman will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Monday, December 23, 2024, at the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. Interment will follow at Mud Bridge Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family Sunday, December 22, 2024, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and again one hour before the funeral at the funeral home.
