Mrs. Joanne Sealock, of Jackson, GA, died Tuesday, January 3, 2012. She was born October 5, 1938 in Jackson, GA to William David and Willie Thurston Fletcher. Joanne was a member of Towaliga Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking, cross-stiching, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Joanne is survived by husband, Larry Sealock, of Jackson; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Sheila and Tracey Mallory, of Jackson, Cindy and Larry Nelson, of Louisville, KY; 3 grandchildren, Eric, Austin and Avery; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Funeral services for Mrs. Joanne Sealock will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 5, 2012 in the Chapel of Sherrell Funeral Home with Rev. John Sherrell officiating. Interment will be at Jenkinsburg City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 - 9:00 PM Wednesday evening. The family is accepting flowers or donations may be made to Stepping Stones Educational Therapy Center, 141 Futral Road, Griffin, Georgia 30224.
