Obituary of Clayton Gaddis

Mr. Clayton Lester Gaddis, age 75, of Jackson, GA, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Sylvan Grove Hospital. Mr. Gaddis was born on Saturday, July 8, 1939 in Winder, Georgia to the late Clayton McKinley Gaddis and the late Margarite Reeves Gaddis. He was a retired manager at J.C. Penney Mail Order Outlet. Lester loved to hunt and fish and he loved to garden. Mr. Gaddis is survived by his wife of 55 years, Nina Taylor Gaddis; son and daughter-in-law, Marty Lester Gaddis and Jennifer Gaddis; daughter and son-in-law, Christy Gaddis Jansen and Chris Jansen; grandchildren, Dylan Smith, McKinley Gaddis, Dalton Jansen, Tayla Jansen, and Jackson Jansen; brother, Robert Gaddis; sister and brother-in-law, Patsy and Howell Houston; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Clayton Lester Gaddis will be conducted on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Reverend Michael Gaddis officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge, Georgia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
