PERKINS Mrs. Mary Annice Perkins, age 70, of Locust Grove, GA, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Vitas Hospice in Stockbridge. She was born on Friday, June 16, 1944 in McDonough, GA to the late Milbon R. Foster and the late Mary R. McClendon Foster. Mary Annice loved spending time with her family and friends, reading, writing poetry, scrapbooking, and Bingo. She retired from KMart and was a member of County Line Baptist Church and enjoyed singing in the choir. She is preceded in death by her husband, Langford H. "Perk" Perkins. Mary Annice is survived by her son, David H. Perkins and Michelle Aiken; daughter, Patricia G. Reed and Terry Traskos; grandchildren, Nicholas R. and Holly Akins, Mitchell S. Reed, Cody T. Perkins and Nicole Bedsaul, Katharine, Megan and Micaela Aiken; great-grandchildren, Faith, Maddie, Trent, JD, Hunter, Riley, Grace, Amanda, and Gracie; brother, Theron E. "Jack" and Charlotte Foster; sisters, Frances Foster and Margie Foster; an aunt; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services for Mary Annice Perkins will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 25, 2015 at County Line Baptist Church with Pastor Michael Thomas officiating. Interment will be at County Line Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening.
