Obituary of Frances Burden

Mrs. Frances Irene Sealock Burden, age 82, of Jackson, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Westbury Medical Care Home in Jackson. She was born on Tuesday, March 21, 1933 in Atlanta, GA to the late Ollie Sealock and the late Myrtle Chapman Sealock. Frances and her late husband, Ed, owned the Big Dam Store in Jackson. She was a member of Stark United Methodist Church.
Frances is survived by her children and their spouses, Janet and George Sawyer, Patricia and Chris Sparks, Debra and Brett Donboch, and Eddie Burden; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles Sealock and Larry Sealock; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services for Frances Burden will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 1, 2015 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy L. Mangham officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to services. Those who wish may sign the online guest registry at www.sherrell-westburyfh.com
