Betty Lee Parker, age 76, of Covington, GA, died Monday, April 25, 2011 at Abbey Hospice. She was born on September 23, 1934 in Atlanta, GA to the late Albert Lee and Jesse Maude Huddleston Parr. She enjoyed crafts, word puzzles, reading, and loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Parker is survived by daughter, Penny Parker, of Covington; son, Raymond Parker, of Stockbridge; grandchildren, Corey Parker, Russell Parker, Waylon Parker, and Deanna Parker; great-grandchildren Suzy, Austin, Hunter, Peyton, Braeden, and Bo; 2 sisters, Marie King, of Jackson, and Regina Johnson, of Locust Grove. She is preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Parker, and son, Tony Parker. Memorial services for Mrs. Betty Parker will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, April 29, 2011 at Joshua's Place with Rev. Rick Moncrief and Rev. Andy Parker officiating. Interment will be at Stewart Baptist Church Cemetery. Those who wish may sign the on-line guest registry at www.sherrellfh.com.
