Andrew Ryan Bennett, age 31, of Jackson, GA, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015 due to injuries received in an auto accident. He was born on Tuesday, November 1, 1983 in Ft. Payne, AL to Donald Bennett and Deborah Higgenbottom Bennett Petty. Andy was a gun collector and enjoyed shooting guns. He was an avid UGA fan. Andy is survived by his daughter, Ireland Nicole Bennett; mother and step-father, Deborah and Allen Petty; father and step-mother, Donald and Angie Bennett; brothers and sister-in-law, Jeremy and Ashton Bennett and Wesley Keber; step-brothers, Chris Petty and Brad Petty; step-sister, Lacee McArthur; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Andy Bennett will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Reverend Frank Brock officiating. Interment will be at Stark United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, evening.
