Obituary of Barbara Morgan

Barbara Jean Morgan, age 70, of Flovilla, GA, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013 at her residence. She was born on October 16, 1942 in Atlanta, GA to the late Clyde Melvin Cochran and the late Esther Martha Brumbelow Cochran. Barbara attended Mount Vernon Baptist Church and enjoyed her horses, dogs, crafts, gospel music and keeping foster children. She loved her husband and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her son, Daniel C. Puckett, and sister, Dorothy C. Lea. Barbara is survived by her husband, Rusty Morgan, of Flovilla; 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Angie Hoggatt, of Duluth, Sandra and Jeff Lawson, of Jackson, Ginger and Brad Capps, of Virginia Beach, VA; son and daugther-in-law, Donald C. and Nilo Puckett, of TX; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister, Janell Ware-Young, of Stockbridge; several nieces and nephews Funeral services for Barbara Morgan will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Mount Vernon Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Saffels officiating. She will lie in state from 1:00 - 2:00 PM. Interment will be at Mount Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery.
