Mr. Ronald Alexander “Ronnie” Threatt, Jr., age 61, of Jackson, GA, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2016. Ronnie was born on Thursday, January 28, 1954 in Atlanta, GA to the late Ronald Alexander Threatt, Sr. and the late Della O’Daniel Threatt. He proudly served in the United States Army. Ronnie was a member of Misfits Outreach and Deliverance Church in Griffin. He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Jerry D. Smith. Ronnie is survived by his wife, Judy Statham Threatt; son, Marvin Doyle Holder; daughters and sons-in-law, Christina and James Robinson, Stacy and Adam West; grandchildren, Kimmie, Jayden, Alexus, Dane Alexander, Cole, Brayden, Christlynn, and Kris; sister, Eugenia Smith; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Ronnie Threatt will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Reverend Mark Statham officiating. Interment will be at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening.
