Katrina “Trina” Smith Belvin, age 54, of Jackson, GA, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2016 at Brightmoor Hospice. Trina was born on Wednesday, January 24, 1962 in Griffin, Georgia to Wynsol Gaynes Smith and Maynette Britton Smith. She was a Child Support Recovery Specialist with the State of Georgia. Trina attended Towaliga Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Trina is survived by her husband of 30 years, Scott Lee Belvin; daughter, Ashley Belvin, and her fiancé, Justin Pierce; son, Aaron Belvin; grandchildren, Scarlett Pierce, Emily Belvin, Abigail Belvin; her parents, Wynsol and Maynette Smith; brother, Dana Smith; in-laws, Otis and Twila Belvin; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services for Trina Belvin will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Towaliga Baptist Church with Reverend Jay Sanders and Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. Interment will follow in the Towaliga Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday evening. Flowers will be accepted, however, those desiring may make contributions to the Towaliga Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 262 Lee Maddox Road, Jackson, GA 30233.
