Mr. Robert Lee Rose, age 74, of Flovilla, GA, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born on Saturday, August 16, 1941 in Fort Payne, Alabama to the late Henry and Celia O’Shields. He was preceded in death by a brother, Dwight O’Shields.
Mr. Rose is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dianne Rose; children, Leon and Jackie Rose, Angie and Shannon Dueitt, Donald Rose and Frankie, Sherry and Mike Strickland; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; sisters, Brenda Wellham, Deliah Jackson; several nieces and nephews; and his two loving dogs, BooBoo and Baby Girl.
Memorial services for Mr. Robert Lee Rose will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Flovilla City Hall. Family and friends are invited to attend. Those who wish may sign the online guest registry at www.sherrell-westburyfh.com
