Mr. Carey Roam Biles, age 61, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away Friday, April 22, 2016 at WellStar Spalding Regional Hospital.
Mr. Biles was born on Saturday, January 29, 1955 in Fort Knox, Kentucky to the late Maurice Roam Biles and the late Carolyn Annette Thomas Biles. He is preceded in death by his twin brother, Gary Biles, sister, Cherry Biles Sweatman, and brother, Keith Biles. Carey was a proud Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having served during the Vietnam War. He was employed with Fabral Inc. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Carey loved NASCAR, fishing, gardening, GA Tech football, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Mr. Biles is survived by his children and their spouses, Michelle and Brian Williams, Brian and Ashlie Biles, Jennifer and David Peterson; grandchildren, Madison Williams, Mackenzie Williams, Hexum Biles, Gwenyth Biles, Caylin Peterson and Isaiah Peterson; sister and brother-in-law, Jan and Kebo Rogers; brother, Tony Biles; sisters-in-law, Nancy Biles and Bernadine Biles; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services for Mr. Carey Biles will be conducted on Tuesday, April 26 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy L. Mangham officiating. Interment will follow at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Those who wish may sign the online guest registry at www.sherrell-westburyfh.com
