Obituary of Jayne Henderson

Mrs. Jayne Marie O’Connell Henderson, age 46, of Jackson, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Emory University Hospital. She was born on Sunday, May 18, 1969 in Williamsport, PA to the late Terrence O’Connell and the late Ethel Preziosi O’Connell. Jayne was born with Cystic Fibrosis. She is a double lung transplant recipient, cancer survivor and lived a full life in the face of many health struggles. She is an inspiration to everyone who knew her. Jayne loved the Lord. Jayne has a special love for music and her singing has amazed any that heard her. However, Jayne’s dearest love has always been her son. She was a faithful wife, mother, and servant of the Lord. Jayne is survived by her husband, Matthew Henderson; son, Aaron Joseph Henderson; sister, Elaine Lake; brother, Terry O’Connell; nieces, Misti Lake and Bayli Lake. Memorial services for Mrs. Jayne Henderson will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2016 at Abundant Life on Dub Walker Road with Pastor Jeremiah Hosford officiating. Following the service, there will be a reception in the fellowship hall of the church. Flowers will be accepted, however those desiring may make a contribution to the Aaron Henderson Education Fund.
