Mrs. Grace Elaine Davis Pace, age 83, of Jackson, GA, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Autumn Village. She was born on Tuesday, March 28, 1933 in Camak, Georgia to the late Charles Emory Davis and the late Gladys Lee Mayes Davis. Grace was a retired Administrative Assistant with the State of Georgia. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. Grace was a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church of McDonough where she was a choir member. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramey Virgil Pace; brother, Donald Davis; and sisters, Harriett Davis and Linda Carol Davis. Grace is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Ramey and Cathy Pace, Esca and Denise Pace, and Stewart Pace; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Vivian Raines and Charlotte Ifland; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Pace will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, March 27, 2017 in the First Baptist Church of McDonough with Dr. Charles Thomas, Dr. Ed Hoard, and Ms. Naomi Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Jackson City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make a memorial contribution to the First Baptist Church of McDonough, 101 Macon St, McDonough, GA 30253 in memory of Mrs. Grace Pace.
