Katherine Ann (Kathy) Eberhardt, of Jackson, GA, died Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Abbey Hospice of Social Circle. She was born October 22, 1953 in Atlanta, GA to the late David Ernest and Evelyn Lillian Russell Smith. She was a member of Herritage Baptist Church in Locust Grove and enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, crocheting, playing cards, and spending time with her family. Kathy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Joe Folds, of Jackson; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy K. and Brandy Smith, of Covington; 6 grandchildren, Keith, Kevin, Brian, Joshua, Brionna, and Jayleigh; brother, Jimmy Lee Smith, of Jackson; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Francis Elizabeth Cavender, and brother, David Franklin Smith. Funeral services for Kathy Eberhardt will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 21, 2011 in the Chapel of Sherrell Funeral Home with Pastor Ricky Russell officiating. Interment will be at Flovilla City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 - 9:00 PM Saturday evening.
