Obituary of Evelyn Taylor

Sara Evelyn Taylor, age 87, of Jackson, GA, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2013 at Westbury Medical Care Home. She was born on September 2, 1925 in Esom Hill, GA to the late Marvin Milton Buttram and the late Wilma Louise Williams Buttram. Evelyn is preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Taylor, and brothers, Heyward Buttram and Roy Buttram. She was a member of Towaliga Baptist Church and a former member of The Mixed Nuts of the First Baptist Church of Jackson. Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Sarah Nellenback, of McDonough, Linda Grant, of Loganville, Bridget Taylor, of Norcross, and Pamela Lytle, of Locust Grove; grandchildren, Robert William Farrigan, Jennifer Pender, Michelle Lynn Hurst, Jacob Raymond Scott, Wendie Scott Ware; 10 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Floy Vice, of Cedartown. Grave side funeral services for Evelyn Taylor will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Jackson City Cemetery with Reverend Jay Sanders officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday evening. Flowers will be accepted, but those desiring to make a memorial donation may do so to the Towaliga Baptist W.M.U., Towaliga Baptist Church, P.O. Box 674, Jackson, GA 30233 in memory of Evelyn Taylor.
