Mrs. Angela Gayle Brooks “Angie” McCullough, age 47, of Jackson, GA died Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at her residence. She was born September 22, 1963 in LaGrange, GA to Joe Tom and Paulette Crumbley Brooks, Jr. She was raised in Barnesville. Angie enjoyed riding horses, 4 wheeling, anything outdoors, and loved spending time with her family. Angie was a hard working lady, both at home and work. She helped all of her family, raising a few of them. She thought her cream potatoes were the cure for every sickness, and the family ate them, too. Angie loved her grandchildren who called her “Nannie Ang”. She also loved to host family functions, bringing both sides together as one. Angie loved everyone. She worked hard, always going to the top on every job she had. Mrs. Angie McCullough is survived by her husband of 23 years, Clint McCullough, of Jackson; son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Valrie McCullough; daughter/niece, Kerri McCullough Duke; granddaughters, Katlyn and Riley; grandson, Oakley; parents, Paulette Crumbley Brooks, of Jackson, and Joe Tom Brooks, Jr., of LaGrange; sister, Anita Petty, of NC; Christal Yearwood, of LaGrange; brother, Joe Brooks, III, of Jackson; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Angie McCullough will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, June 25, 2011 in the Chapel of Sherrell Funeral Home with Pastor Wilma Andrews officiating. Interment will be at Jackson City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 PM - until hour of service Saturday.
