I was sorry to stumble on this obituary today, looking to see if I could find anything on my friend Deborah Rodgers. We spent a lot of time together at each others house, school and church in Stone Mountain, Georgia. My family and I were sorting old pictures and came across a few with Deborah and myself from the late sixties and early seventies. I am sorry to hear of Deborah's passing and offer my condolences to her family.I have added a photo of her and myself with the other choir members from so long ago. She is the first person on the left on the first full row and her mother is the sixth person from the left.

Our hearts aches for all of you! Deborah was so special to Arthur and me! Loved hearing her play the piano! She was so faithful to God and Liberty! Many times at church Deborah would have several of her great grandchildren with her! She loved her family! Deborah told me she loved us numerous times and the feeling was totally felt by us!
We love all of you and are praying for comfort and peace in your lives!

I dont even know where to start she meant so much to me as family , sister , and friend she always knew what ti say when I was down , how to bring a smile on my face, she held a big place in my heart she was sweet ,out spoken the most selfless woman I know and loved her family more then her selff, she put them all on a pedestal if she could , me and her would carry on a conversation texting back and forth for days I'm gonna miss that , i know she isn't in no more pain today she was one true woman of God she taught me a lot just in the months we really started talking she was an amazing woman and like her daughter said I'm not gonna say goodbyes because one day I'm coming to meet you in that glorious place and we will smile again together in heaven but for now RIP and play that beautiful piano music for Jesus I will miss you but your memorie will live in my heart forever you sure left us all a memory to never forget
