The world lost a bright light and heaven gained an angel. Bob had a way of making you feel like family, whether you were with him minutes, hours or days. I will miss that smile that was full of warmth and a little mischief.
May the beautiful memories and the knowledge that he adored his family being you comfort and peace

Bob was a very special person and we spent many special times with him Arlene and the family, they are our American family. We are always made welcome and looked after extremely well. Malcolm and I will miss Bob dearly. Malcolm spent many hours driving with him while he was still in the UK backwards and forwards to his beloved Scotland and across the sea to Ireland sometimes getting themselves into mischief Rest in eternal peace Bob xx.
Added one of my favourite pictures of Bob and Malcolm doing what they loved best a natter and a nap!

Bob was so unique and loved those around him. When he and Arlene married we were happy at how well they blended their lives and they were so devoted to each other.
. I loved hearing him talk and enjoyed talking with him. He loved people, there is no doubt!
He will be missed.
Brenda and Spud.

Robert and Rosalyn Shaw posted a condolence

We were all devastated to hear this sad news on Sunday, as we were so looking forward to seeing you and Arlene in May. We have so many fond and happy memories of you. And so many stories especially the 1 where you were cooking a chicken in your engine on the way to London. When you pulled over to check if it was cooked enough to eat and the recovery service stopped to enquire if you had a problem, your reply was Yes the chicken wasn't big enough... You were a true friend and Uncle to our 3 boys we Loved and will miss you loads.
RIP Bob until we meet again...
Robert,Rosalyn and Family xx

Although I didn’t see Bobby much as an adult, I do remember him coming to San Antonio with my Uncle Pete Campbell for a visit. I remember going out to dinner with them and my dad, John Campbell. I remember him as a jovial guy and I also remember listening intently as I would miss some words due to his Scottish accent. My father was very fond of his cousin Bobby Taylor and spoke of him often. My deepest condolences to Arlene and the family.
