Obituary of Charles Eugene Hicks

Mr. Charles Eugene “Charlie” Hicks, age 73, of Forsyth, Georgia, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023.

 

Charlie was born on Wednesday, June 22, 1949, in Graceville, Florida. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Joel Puzder. He served in the United States Army and in the Vietnam War.  Charlie loved his dogs. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

 

Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Carol Hicks; sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Kathy Puzder, Charles and Shannon Puzder; grandchildren, Tyanne Puzder, T.J. Puzder; sister, Dot Heath; dog, Trink; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 

A graveside service for Mr. Charlie Hicks will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at the Jackson City Cemetery with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 9:30 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org, ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
